Jesus taught to make ourselves ready for His kingdom now, so that when He returns He will find us being the good stewards He instructed and designed us to be from the beginning. We are to embody His character and live according to His kingdom ideals in everything we do, including in the way we steward His created world and all the creatures living therein.
