Yes, absolutely! The Bible is clear that animals can both give and receive love. Jesus describes His own love as that of a mother hen for her baby chicks. Balaam’s donkey showed extraordinary Christlike love for Balaam by saving his life, despite that love not being reciprocated. Animals are even depicted in the Bible as showing love to God by praising Him. There are also several examples of animals receiving love from God and from righteous people who follow God.
